Default Sheff-sparky's Flapjacks
This is my blokes recipie and makes them with the kids.

100g/4oz butter
75g/3oz golden syrup
75g/3oz soft brown sugar
225g/8oz rolled oats

Put butter, syrup and sugar into a saucepan and stand over a low heat until melted.

Stir in the oats and mix well.

Spread into a greased 8 x 12 in swiss roll tin and smooth the top with a knife.

Bake at 180c/gas4 for 30 minutes.

Leave in tin for 5 minutes then cut into 24 fingers.

Remove from tin when cold

Store in airtight container

optional (eat all of them then blame the missus - kids to this day are convinced I ate them all)

You're welcome.

The bloke is Sheff-sparky. When he does cook he's really good at it. Baking is what he's best at though. I'm best the savory stuff. Needless to say, we dont have much but we bloody eat well. I love cooking - it's one of the few things I'm really good at.

Just made the flapjacks myself - and realised that Sheff-sparky uses double the quantity of ingredients but the 8 x12 inch tin.

I suggest you do the same as the original is a bit too thin.
