Smile Christmas cake ... and any other festive recipes

OK i am getting into the christmas spirit and starting to plan my christmas food ...

CHRISTMAS CAKE RECIPE APPEAL!!!
i really wanted to try a new christmas cake recipe this year but i havent even had time to even look for one ... the one i did the year before last was nice but quite light and i wanted something more traditional ... you know the sort that if you droped it on your foot you would need a trip to casulty

so please post your christmas cake recipes here

(and before someone points it out i know that i should have baked my christmas cake in september/october but i wasnt that organised!!)

ANY OTHER GOOD FESTIVE RECIPES
i am always on the lookout for new recipes so do you have any other festive ideas please feel free to post those too ...

... somewhere i have a lovely stollen recipe ... i will dig that out and post it tomorrow
