I am going mad...ok nothing new there!! i am trying to get onto lloyds tsb to check my account and i can't, most of the Adelaide babes have tried for me and they don't have a problem , i have tried restoring my computer,cleaning it up, hitting the keyboard but nothing seems to work, i don't have a problem connecting to anything else,just keep getting the page load error try again page

any kind of help or advice will be gratefully received

Google acts as a proxy.

So goto Google.com

Language Tools

Enter the website address, and choose English and English

That should work

Firefox - Press Control, Shift & Delete (all at once), then click 'clear private data now'

IE - on the toolbar, select 'tools' then 'internet options'. When the box pops up, select Delete from the general tab, under Browsing History and then click on 'delete files' and 'delete history'.

Are you going directly to the accoutn login page? If so try going via another Lloyds page which redirects you.

Can you get to the normal Lloyds screen Ok or is that blocked too?

Have you deleted your cookies and tried again?

Is it a normal page load timeout error or is it a page blocked error?

tried all ways cannot access any lloyds page apart from the jobs at lloyds and when i press a link to the main site on ther i get the address not found page with lots of garb telling me what the problem might be and the try again button done the cookies thing still no luck........i'm baffeld!!

If you have tried to connect many many times, it sounds as if your modem is blocking you, via its inbuilt firewall.
Easiest way to remedy this, is to switch Modem off. THEN back on again.

Also try typing both versions of the login...

so http://somesite and http://www.somesite

I agree that it sounds like a firewall issue if you cannot get any Lloyds site up but surprised there is no site blocked message. Do you have any firewalls turned on and can you check if any of them are blockign the site - also is your browser securtiy limiting your access - like the IE Security restricted sites list?

Currently and again, which happens at least 4 times a month, we are blocked from viewing our .com.au sites.
I think this is because we are on an American Server and the trace route as such looks like traffic from overseas, when we are viewing it. If aussie servers werent so damned exxy I would shift em.

Each time, BigSwamp tell us its our issue, yet via proxy the sites are accesible. Drives me frigging nuts.

The google language one I said to use, sorry I meant, put in web address and select english as the from and french as the too language, if it works its a simple way of knowing your site is being blocked via your firewall/isp.

Another is to goto start and type CMD ( command prompt )

Then type ping www.thesitename.com

Hit enter.

If it says it cannot reach the server it means the site is either down or being blocked.

thanks so much everyone still no luck i recently trialed an avg virus thingy thing and that run out so i uninstalled it not sure how to check my firewalls tho and how do i know if they are blocking this site, unless it's marked in pink neon writing i'm not sure if i will know!!! bit of a puter bimbo i'm afraid!! have tried all other suggestions with no luck!!
