we'll have plenty of gaps! Got some scented Jasmine, the guy said take the stakes out and they will grow as good ground cover and give off a beautiful scent. Is that right?

I want it to look as if they've been there for about 10 years though

I am a keen gardener and have gardened all over the place.
I find the best way to find out about the local plants are to go looking at the neighbours flowers find a neighbour with a beautiful display and go knock on their door and say you need advice having just immigrated. You will find most gardeners very keen to share knowledge, cuttings, seedlings, books and put you in touch with local societies.

Failing that contact the local botanic gardens they usually have plant sales and all the people who work there are keen to share their knowledge and usually provide/sell fact sheets on local flora and it's care

I am going to have to do that once we get our own place, but have just had some fresh spinach from my veggie pach-yum!

the plant sales at syd botanic gardens are on mon to friday 11.30 to 2pm and on some Saturdays they have a growing friends plant sale next one at Syd is the 25th of Oct and the 8h of November 9am to 1pm the plant list for sale is on the webite Growing Friends' plant sales - Botanic Gardens Trust - Sydney, Australia

Spent $600 worth of Bunnings vouchers on plants and garden tools.

Tropical Zone has had 15 cubic metres of topsoil added ready for planting. Me back

Should see the wood through the palms this weekend.
