Bloody good road between Beaudesert and Boonah...been down there a few times.. and the to queen mary falls then the old lions road between NSW and QLD.

I would love to move out to Boonah or Aratula one day..trouble is it's in the middle of nowhere

Have to agree.

Jimboombomboolabong as my wife calls it, is a great place.

Only down side are the nightly storms we used to experience in summer, with the odd bit of tennis ball sized hail thrown in.

We ventured via jimboomba, Beaudesert to find Black Fellows Knob.

I haven't played it yet mate since we moved out here... Was hoping to go along this weekend for a game to try the course out, with a view to membership.

They currently have 14 months membership for the price of 12 for $600 with no joining fee before July.

Apparrently it's also the longest course in the southern hemisphere... This is OK though, as there is very little in the way of houses and folks back gardens where I always used to end up when I played at Windaroo

I'll keep you posted, or if you fancy coming down for a hit this Sunday, let us know pal..

I'm not so far away myself, very nice area, I've been for a mindless meander down that way a few times and love the scenery.

We've got friends out at Rathdowney too and they have a great spot on top of a hill overlooking Mount Barney and whatnot.

In 3 years still haven't been up to O'Reillys though.

We did a long weekend down Mount Warning way and that was spectacular too.
