Welcome (whoever you are!).

I have been in the pool today with a snorkel set. Just mucking about but it gave me an urge to get out there again soon. I am a bit nervous after not diving for about 5 months but hoping to get a beach dive in next weekend to see what I can remember.

Where do you hide out at again, location wise?


I like a nice beach dive go in at your leisure and hope you come out the same way.

I am in Perth. Most of my dives so far have been between Hillarys and Burns Beach but we have done a couple in the river off the "beach". I am sure a beach dive into the sea with swell to deal with is a lot harder but I just want to know if I have a run away ascent due to lack of practice it doesn't matter in shallow water.

Incidentally, I agreed to do City to Surf next year so between that and the dive I have a real incentive to get fit and lose a few kilos once my parents go home.
