Bomb Scare - Forest Lake

Just when i thought things couldn't get any worse..

On thursday atf, my OH phones me at work to say that he can't get to our house as the police have blocked our entire road.. he asked them what was going off and the police said 'theres been an incident' so OH said well can you tell me what type of incident, police officer said no, but you cant get access to your house so i suggest you find somewhere else to go for about another hour !!

Anyway it turns out that they had been lead to believe there was a package in a property in that was at the top of our street that could possibly be a bomb.. therefore our street and another street was completely closed down for most of the day.

We did eventually get back into our house about 4pm t-time, and 2 people have been arrested... now theres me thinking i lived in a nice quiet suburb.... obviously not !!
